Two angels

Although sometimes I feel ill never understand. I believe these two girls were angels all along. The fact that my heart yearns for something the earth can no longer supply for me is proof that heaven must be our home. Although I can still feel your presence and talk to you both whenever I need it’s just not the same when my mind is still having trouble wrapping itself around the fact that I feel like you’re still gone. I am so grateful to have shared so many amazing smiles, laughs and memories with you two unforgettable people but I’m ready for more! I love you both to pieces, till I see you again beautiful angels. Xoxo

Kind souls

I had the honor of meeting Myka shortly after moving to Perry. She lived across the street and something about that beautiful child’s spirit made quickly fall in love with her. She quickly became another member of our family. I loved her as if she was one of my own and she will forever be one of the the greatest gifts I’d been given. My heart aches every day. This world has suffered such a loss. I met Kayleigh through Myka and she was such a good and kind soul.

Rest in peace, angels!

I never met Kayleigh, though I know how special she was to my family and my niece.

They were great young women … the thousands who turned out for their memorial service testified to that fact.

I remember seeing Myka during a business trip to Cleveland when she was about 6 or 7. Almost the first thing out of her mouth was that I was out of line wearing a suit to Dad’s house. I knew immediately she’d landed in the right family.

Rest in peace, angels! Know that you’ve inspired others left behind to carry on your work.
